We'd love your thoughts on Childcare & the Ski Trip

we are so excited that you’ve signed up to be the first to hear about PyCascades news 😎. 

We’ve already been working hard on making PyCascades an incredible conference for the Pacific Northwest. Today we are reaching out to ask for some insight from you so we can make sure we meet your expectations:

Quick Feedback

• Childcare
  We’d like to make PyCascades an inclusive event and support the attendance of individuals with children. We are currently looking into childcare options and would like to get an idea of how many of you would take advantage of an offer like that. 
• Ski Trip
  Many of you might already have heard the rumour about a pre-conference ski trip in the nearby Whistler Blackcomb ski resort. We’d also be interested to know how many of you would be interested in joining that trip.

Volunteers

We are always looking for volunteers. If you’d like to help us make this a great event, sign up for our volunteer mailing list: http://bit.ly/volunteer-at-pycascades

Current volunteer gigs available:

• Speaker Mentors
  Help potential speaker with their proposal or their presentation. All we need is your contact information (name, email address, brief bio). We will then list you on our website along with the CFP as a mentor. You decide how many/few people you want to mentor!
• Mentor Wranglers
  Help reach out to people and ask if they'd like to be a speaker mentor for PyCascades. Please ask for their contact info (name, email address, brief bio) and we will list them on our website, along with the CFP. 

Both roles are highly valuable and critical for the success of PyCascades, and will help us deliver high-quality program and diverse content from both new and experienced speakers.
