In case you missed the announcement, tickets for our Sprints and Friday Social are also open - these are free add-ons to your registration, but do require separate tickets.

Saturday Afternoon AI Workshops

Interested in learning more about supporting modern AI applications using vector search and Python AI frameworks? Our sponsor Microsoft is offering two free workshops Saturday following the talk portion of our program. These are both on-site at SFU, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on Saturday. These are free add-ons, but do require separate registration.

DocumentDB Workshop

This intro to DocumentDB is great if you're building applications with flexible JSON data models, MongoDB-style APIs, or schema-flexible microservices such as content platforms, mobile backends, or event-driven applications. To register for the DocumentDB workshop, select it as an add-on when you book your PyCascades ticket

PostgreSQL Workshop

This SQL-based workshop is great for applications that rely on relational data, structured schemas, complex queries, or transactional integrity—such as financial systems, SaaS backends, or analytics-driven applications. To register for the PostgreSQL workshop, fill out the registration form

Saturday Night Social hosted by GitButler

Our sponsor GitButler is hosting an off-site happy hour Saturday night. This is a casual event with light snacks, beverages, and video games, hosted a few blocks away from PyCascades. More info and registration.

Sprint Maintainers Wanted

Do you work on an open-source project that could use some extra hands? Or maybe you want the joy of helping someone through their first open-source contribution? We're looking for project maintainers or representatives to join our Sprints on Monday. If this sounds like you, drop us a line at sprints@pycascades.com!
