Open Volunteer Roles: Communications Chair & Lightning Talk Coordinator

Hello to all you lovely volunteers,

We are finally getting to a point where you can contribute to make PyCascades the most awesome it can be 🎉. How? By volunteering for one of these two positions that we need help with:

Communications Chair

• Send out and respond to emails.
• Circulate announcements and general information on social media.
• Keeping eyes on twitter, instagram, etc and engage with the community

Lightning Talk Coordinator

• Prepare the signup sheets and schedule talks
• Be the point person for everything lighting talks
• MC the lightning talks on stage
• Coordinate the speakers and general logistics
