We're excited you'll be joining us this weekend!

  • Before the event
  • Captions

How to join the conference

Your email from Pretix includes a unique link to your ticket management page. Once the event is live, a "Join online event" button will appear there. We made a guide to help.  If you have any trouble accessing Venueless during the conference, reach out to the organizers on the PyCascades Slack. (Join)

Where to go, what to see

  • Stages: The main track streams (see below)
  • Booths: Meet community groups & our sponsors
  • Conversation channels: Video and text chat for networking and discussion

Two tracks, two environments

Not everyone learns the same way. This year we have two tracks. Our "Prerecorded Talks" track features standard conference talks with live Q&A afterwards with the speaker. Our "Interactive" track features a variety of programs that aim for greater engagement: panel discussions, a fireside chat, and demos.

Before the event...

Join the PyCascades Slack for pre-event announcements or to contact event staff if you're unable to join Venueless.

Check out the full schedule to select which programs to attend.

We want to ensure that PyCascades continues to be an inclusive and comfortable space for all attendees. Before attending, please familiarize yourself with our Code of Conduct; it applies to all of the virtual spaces the conference will take place in.

On the platform we're using for the conference (Venueless), we have provided the option for people to self-report whether they are open to direct messages (DMs) or not. This does not affect one's ability to receive DMs, so we ask that you please respect others' designation in this regard and refrain from DMing where requested.

We hope that everyone has a positive, enjoyable, and informative experience at the conference! If you have any concerns during the event, go to the "Code of Conduct" section and click "Reach out to us," or email us at conduct@pycascades.com.

Captions?

Yes! We'll have captions on both tracks on Saturday. More info at Accessibility. If you need any special accommodations, contact diversity@pycascades.com.

Still have questions? Take a look at the conference website and if you can't find the answers there, email organizers@pycascades.com.

Thanks to our sponsors for their support 💕
